Ferragamo recently hosted an immersive event to celebrate its Fall-Winter 2023 Eyewear and Accessory Collections at Lavan New York in Chelsea.
Media, influencers and prominent New Yorkers were invited to discover Ferragamo’s New Renaissance through the lens of its latest collections featuring paintings courtesy of Le Gallerie delgi Uffizi. The famous pieces of artwork from the 15th and 16th centuries were projected throughout the venue to showcase Creative Director Maximilian Davis’ vision for the brand. By placing muses, friends and members of his diverse creative community in the context of works by Bellini, Veronese and Botticelli, Davis has created a dialogue between past and present, values of tradition and of progress, past eras and future generations, both the spirit of the Renaissance and the world of 21st-century luxury are thrown into different relief by juxtaposition.
The famous pieces of artwork from the 15th and 16th centuries were also seen around the venue as backdrops to display FERRAGAMO’s newest sunglasses, timepieces and Hug handbags, while guests enjoyed cocktails and light bites. DJ Amrit Tietz delivered great entertainment, setting the perfect vibe for the evening as campaign imagery and videos circled around the projection room, offering a larger than life, immersive experience for all. Each guest was gifted a pair of FERRAGAMO sunglasses upon their exit.
