The 14th Annual DVF Awards took place in Venice, Italy honoring guests including Amal Clooney for her work on behalf of victims of human rights abuses around the world; United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Amina J. Mohammed; environmental and human rights defender, Helena Gualinga; a leading expert on the implications of artificial intelligence, Dr. Joy Buolamwini; and storyteller and gender equality advocate, Lilly Singh.
The event, hosted with Vital Voices Global Partnership, including a performance by multi-platinum, Grammy nominated singer & mental health pioneer Jewel and appearances by the Nobel Peace Prize winning-journalist, Maria Ressa; actress, screenwriter and producer Emma Thompson; singer and songwriter Rita Ora; and special guest Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi.
