August is National Black Business Month, and Nordstrom is supporting and recognizing Black businesses nationwide to work together to create a more equitable retail and fashion industry.
Nordstrom kicked off the month-long campaign with an evening of community and conversation along with Harlem's Fashion Row, The Folklore Group, Christina Funke Tegbe, Founder of 54 Thrones, and Moya Annece & Ashley Cimone, Co-Founders of ASHYA at Nordstrom NYC Flagship.
Guests enjoyed cocktails, light bites prepared by Chef Krystal Lewis of Wolf Restaurant, and flavorful oysters from The Real Mother Shuckers oyster cart, browsed a special pop-up curation from The Black Home, while surrounded by florals by Oat Cinnamon, and enjoyed music by DJ Nikki Kynard.
