Liz Lange, American fashion designer, entrepreneur, author, podcast host, and current owner of the fabled Grey Gardens estate in East Hampton, was the Honorary Chairperson of the Preview Benefit Cocktail Party for the 2023 East Hampton Antiques and Design Show, which was held on the beautiful, historic grounds Mulford Farm in the heart of East Hampton Village. Guests had the opportunity to meet Honorary Chair Liz Lange and enjoyed an early buying opportunity of the impressive array of antiques, art, jewelry, timelessly chic furniture, accessories, and collectibles. Ticket proceeds benefited the East Hampton Historical Society.
“As the current owner of the treasured and iconic Grey Gardens, the historical structures of East Hampton are near and dear to my heart. The buildings that the East Hampton Historical Society maintains are vital and make up the composition of one of the loveliest and best-planned villages in America, a village I have been lucky enough to have been coming to since my childhood. It’s a great evening because old and new East Hampton are all together, thinking about how lucky we are to be here… and the shopping is fun! I have found some of my favorite possessions there including jewelry, tabletop and even the outdoor table we use on our back patio. Hope to see you there!” said Lange.
Distinguished guests included Aerin Lauder, Richard and Lauren DuPont, Jenny Landey, Laura Doyle, Katharine Rayner, Annette Cumming, Mike Clifford and Robert Levy. The design community came out in full force, including David Netto, Stephen Sills. Scott Sanders, Marshall Watson, Tom Scheerer, Steven Gambrel, David Kleinberg, Tom Samet, and Nathan Wold.
