Mercedes-Benz and Superplastic, the world’s top creator of animated celebs, vinyl toys & digital collectibles, came together at Superplastic’s Soho store last night for one of the most anticipated drops of the year: a limited-edition co-branded collection of apparel, accessories, and a luxury art figure.
The event closed Prince Street for an immersive indoor and outdoor event, including a Superplastic gallery space takeover, a larger-than-life Superdackel sculpture that debuted at CES, and a jaw-dropping full-screen animation of the brands' short film, which is integrated into the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class MBUX. A custom Mercedes Benz E-Class wrapped in Mercedes Benz x Superplastic graphics was also parked on site.
The evening brought together top influencers across fashion and lifestyle for a night of dancing with DJ Timo Weiland. Models Victoria Britto and Lexi Wood, Peloton’s Emma Lovewell, drag icon CT Hedden, and reality TV stars Melinda Berry of Too Hot to Handle and Christian Birkenberger of Big Brother were all in attendance enjoying cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres and playing the custom Mercedes Benz x Superplastic claw machine.
