Revelers on Miami Beach took a step back in time and forward as The National Hotel Miami Beach opened up its legendary Martini Bar. Layered with the original marble flooring from the hotel's 1939 build with mirrored and Gatsby Esque decor, guests were welcomed in by National General Manager Stephen Mercier and greeted with drinks such as the Dirty Thoughts Martini which puts your regular dirty to shame, and the French 1939, featuring citrus and cava rosé. Lite bites from Spanish restaurant Mareva 1939, named by The Miami New Times as Best Spanish Restaurant in 2022 were noshed on throughout the night. The Martini Bar, originally built during the hotel’s opening, is an intimate setting tucked away behind the restaurant of the hotel. The room opens up to a view of the property’s longest infinity pool in Florida all brought to life with an impressive hand-selected collection of art, including brightly painted portraits and photographs of celebrities such as David Bowie, Keanu Reeves, Marilyn Monroe and more. Centrally located along Miami’s exciting South Beach, The National Hotel Miami Beach is one of the destination’s original art deco landmark beachfront hotels, blending legendary grace with unforgettable style. Recently refreshed, the adults-only hotel seamlessly combines the nostalgic spirit of its iconic heritage with modern comfort and culture for a true sanctuary in the heart of South Beach. Guests such as NBC 6’s Kelly Blanco, TV Host Dr. Ana Isabel Hume, writer Bill Kearney and more were serenaded by an electric violinist and photographed by World Red Eye. Hosting the celebration and grand opening were the National Director of Food and Beverage, Alejandro Delgado and Ivette Davalos, Director of Sales and Catering. The Martini Bar is located inside The National Hotel Miami Beach at 1677 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
