Buccellati debuted at Art Basel Miami with the exhibition “Galateo. A Journey into Conviviality,” which was celebrated with a gala dinner at the Miami Beach EDITION hotel.
The event continued the brand’s collaboration with Stefano Boeri Interiors studio, which was first launched with a curated installation at Salone del Mobile in Milan in June 2022. For the Miami experience, the design firm created a complex structure of reflecting walls in an immersive environment, where the visitor enters an almost intimate relationship with the splendid unique silver pieces of the Maison Buccellati, extraordinarily visible in all their details and angles. Buccellati’s historic silver collections Caviar, Doge, Marina, Rouche, and Tahiti were on display, alongside the star of the evening, the new porcelain “Double Rouche – Florence Furnace” collection. The collection was born from the collaboration between the two prestigious Italian brands, Buccellati 1919 and Ginori 1735.
The vignettes of Buccellati’s silver were complemented by digital representations of the imaginative installations that leading figures on the international design scene crafted for Salone del Mobile. Guests were invited to see how renowned designers, including Dimorestudio, Ashley Hicks, Chahan Minassian, and Patricia Urquiola, reimagined “the table” with the Buccellati silver pieces at their center.
