Over 270 artists, art lovers and guests gathered in Union Square to celebrate the grand opening of LUMAS San Francisco, the renowned international art gallery’s 22nd location and West Coast flagship. Showcasing the works of over 250+ famous and emerging local Bay Area and global artists, guests explored a preview of the LUMAS collection and took home new pieces in support of the Bay Area arts community with a portion of proceeds benefiting non-profit Oakland Art Murmur. Mark Beyer, LUMAS CMO, welcomed and introduced guests to the LUMAS collection and Christa Cesario, OAM Board Member, spoke on the importance of the arts community to the culture of San Francisco. Debuting his PAPER DOLLS collection, Bay Area contemporary artist Fernando Reyes, engaged guests in a Q&A and signed works. Throughout the evening guests also enjoyed specialty cocktails poured by Sourced from Luxardo and Junipero Gin, bites from Bi-Rite and tunes from DJ Umami.
