St. Regis Hotels & Resorts celebrated its newest St. Regis Connoisseur Jamie Cullum with a live performance by the Grammy & Golden Globe-nominated, jazz-pop singer-songwriter. The exclusive event also marked the continued ‘Jazz Legends at St. Regis,’ which to date has brought intimate yet electric jazz performances to New York, Washington, DC, Istanbul, San Francisco, Mexico City and Bangkok.
Launching January 2016, the celebrated artist has also lent his ear to curate jazz music for the public spaces of all St. Regis hotels and resorts globally. In addition, Cullum masterfully compiled his favorite tunes, capturing a variety of moods, for a playlist which will be available on www.stregis.com/jazz this month. Upcoming ‘Jazz Legends at St. Regis’ performances will take place at St. Regis Hotels in Dubai, Macao, Osaka, Singapore and Washington D.C.
The intimate set revived The St. Regis New York’s celebrated jazz club at the iconic hotel, which has played host to legendary jazz musicians from Count Basie to Duke Ellington. For this one night only, The Vault was transformed by event designer Rebecca Gardner into a twenties-era jazz club, complete with cigarette girls donning Marchesa dresses.
