The Colony Hotel President & Owner, Sarah Wetenhall hosted a sunset fête celebrating the hotel’s pop-up at Christie’s in Southampton. The special evening also kicked off the hotel’s 75th anniversary year and is the first of several events commemorating the historic hotel.
The evening featured cocktails in The Colony’s tropical oasis outside of Christie’s Southampton gallery. Guests reveled among The Colony’s signature double scalloped umbrellas, cabana stripe loungers, and (of course) the unmistakable pink and green Beach Buggy. The Palm Beach scene was completed by swaying palms and bright fuchsia blooms courtesy of famed florist Lewis Miller, while DJ Adam Lipson of Montauk and Palm Beach curated dreamy beachside sounds.
