Smythson hosted an intimate book signing with legendary fashion editor and stylist Grace Coddington to celebrate the launch of her Fashion Diary, created in collaboration with the British luxury accessories and stationery house.

Notable guests included Karen Elson, Derek Blasberg, Sally Singer, Tonne Goodman, Phyllis Posnick, Didier Malige, Anne Christensen, Jessica Diehl, Willow Lindley, and Lily Nova.  

Held at Smythson’s new Madison Avenue flagship in New York City, the event brought together an intimate gathering of editors, stylists, designers, and close friends of Coddington to celebrate the collaboration. Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to meet Grace Coddington, have their Fashion Diary personally signed, and discover the exclusive collection while enjoying the newly opened boutique.

Officially now open, Smythson’s new Madison Avenue flagship marks an exciting new chapter for the British luxury house in New York City. The boutique offers an elevated retail experience, showcasing the brand’s signature leather goods, fine stationery, and personalized services while reflecting Smythson’s longstanding heritage of craftsmanship and timeless design.   

A celebrated figure in fashion, Grace Coddington is best known for her decades-long career at Vogue, where her imaginative storytelling and distinctive creative vision helped shape some of fashion’s most memorable editorial imagery. Her collaboration with Smythson brings her signature artistic perspective to the house’s heritage of fine stationery, celebrating creativity, personal expression, and the art of putting pen to paper.
