A family-friendly celebration was hosted by Veronica Beard Southampton where Ms. Pridham read the story of Princess Diana’s life to a gathering of her youngest fans. Ms. Pridham signed copies of her book throughout the event. A portion of event sales benefitted Centrepoint, an organization in the UK which provides accommodations and support to homeless people aged 16–25. Princess Diana was a patron of the organization and Prince William has been a patron since 2005.
Following the book launch, the author and her husband, David Pridham, hosted an intimate dinner party at their Southampton home where guests were transported to an English garden. Emberli and David celebrated with Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Jill Zarin, Michael Gregson Reiner, Rudy Saunders, and Bossi the Pom, among others.
