Brunello Cucinelli presented its Spring/Summer 2027 Women’s Collection: The Nature of Savoir-Faire in Milan during Milan Fashion Week at 

Craftsmanship and Originality.

Beyond mastery, tradition and innovation, savoir-faire also lies in an everyday sense of ease and authenticity, and in a natural confidence that allows the most exquisite workmanship to come fully into its own. Control and freedom, the exceptional and the everyday, comfort and identity: savoir-faire is the art of bringing different elements together. It is the point of connection upon which we build our creations, our values and our way of being and living. In nature, the ultimate expression of savoir-faire, the variety of forms, the interplay of infinite nuances of colour and the coexistence of contrasting qualities remind us that what matters is not perfection, but harmony.

Elective Affinities

Echoes of the Nordic seas, the refinement of a bygone era and a contemporary metropolitan attitude become inextricably intertwined. Raffia meets organza, sailor stripes are paired with golden accents, and workwear silhouettes encounter crochet textures. This synergy breaks with convention, creating space for new connections between functionality, freedom, and elegance. This creative exchange extends beyond individual elements to reshape the identity of the categories themselves. Shirts borrow silhouettes and details from bomber jackets and trench coats, while outerwear in organza, striped poplin and denim takes on a summery feel, offering a fresh and unexpected approach to daywear. Utility aesthetics are softened and reinterpreted through a feminine lens, with delicate tailoring, fluid lines and the ethereal quality of the materials. Timeless summer palettes of white, rope and ivory are paired with the season’s neutrals: American khaki and cardamom, clay and leather, Corten and pecan. Primary red and luminous, uplifting shades of blue lend intensity. Delicate nude, pale skin and peony make-up tones create a light, ethereal atmosphere, while cream, wheat and sunflower evoke sun-warmed hues. Touches of gold against Panama, black and leather create combinations that transition effortlessly from day to evening.

Diagonal weaves inspired by Viennese canework, either embroidered or crocheted by hand, extend beyond knitwear to skirts, T-shirts and accessories.
