Ian Schrager and Nile Rodgers co-hosted what seemed to be a night of music history at Schrager’s PUBLIC on the LES. Around 150 guests packed into the hotel’s Bar Chrystie to mark a new music series with Schrager introducing Nile who gave the audience story after story of his music career starting with where it all started - Studio 54. Guests including Vashtie Kola, Rex de Tiger, Marja Samson, Afrodet Zuri, Blu de Tiger, Khadijat Oseni andKarston Tannis were treated to a 45-minute set of greatest hits from Nile Rogers. The performance marks the launch of a new series of musical performances at the bar, with more names to be announced.
