The Art Students League of New York hosted its annual Dream Ball, a party and costume contest held annually to raise money for its scholarship fund. Drag legend Murray Hill hosted the evening, attended by over 250 guests, which took place throughout the League’s historic building on W 57th Street, inspired by the joyous legacy of League alumnus Alexander Calder and his legendary Circus performances.
The League’s Vanderbilt Gallery turned into a vibrant Circus of Wonder for the evening, with guests parading in circus-inspired costumes.
The League’s studios were transformed into immersive experiences throughout the night, with activations featuring balloon artist Cyannabis; clown and party host Lollygag; Gogo dancer and Drag King Mauve; Game Carnie & Party Host Toe Moss; tarot card readings by Miss Frankie Eleanor; and clown makeover artist Kae.
Murray Hill—drag legend, TV personality, and returning emcee—hosted the costume parade and contest, with prizes awarded for the most spectacular looks.
Everyone danced the night away to music by DJ Reborn, the acclaimed international DJ whose dynamic sets have graced Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, and Glastonbury.
