Christie’s Southampton became Palm Beach for a night as The Colony transformed the Pond Lane gallery into a tropical paradise celebrating the launch of the hotel's pop up at Christie’s. Guests arrived through The Colony’s outdoor hospitality activation adorned with seagrape paddle boards, cabana stripe chaise loungers, swaying palm trees, and of course The Colony’s signature pink and green beach buggy. The menu boasted classics from Swifty’s, the beloved Upper East Side restaurant now thriving at The Colony Palm Beach, and rose and champagne from Out East. Tables adorned with lush tropical blooms and monstera leaves were accented by gallery walls hung with blue chip selections from Christie’s upcoming 20/21st Century Art Sale. The Colony’s mascot, mischievous monkey Johnnie Brown would approve!
Guests included Debbie Bancroft, Wilbur & Hillary Geary Ross, Annelise Peterson, Christian Leone, Kim Heirston, Bob Colacello, Steven Stolman, Colony owners Andrew & Sarah Wetenhall, and Christies President Bonnie Brennan.
