The Autumn Dinner plays a unique role in the social landscape of New York and is a much-anticipated highlight of The Frick Collection’s social and fundraising calendar. Named one of the “Most memorable parties of the year” by The New York Times, the annual event quickly sold out, as it has in past years. This year’s black-tie dinner honored Sidney R. Knafel, a generous friend and benefactor of The Frick Collection and numerous other arts and educational institutions throughout the United States.
The festive evening, held at the elegant Frick mansion, was a magical experience celebrating one of America’s finest museums. The event is the only sit-down dinner held in the museum’s monumental picture galleries, among masterpieces dating from the Renaissance through the nineteenth century.
