The Central Park Conservancy held it’s 39th Annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon. The event raised over $2.8 million for Central Park Conservancy’s ongoing commitment to maintaining New York City’s most beloved green-space. Special homage was paid to the role Central Park and it’s essential in-Park operations staff played in New York City’s tenacity since March of 2020, serving as a safe space and reprieve as it stayed open throughout the entire pandemic.
Event co-chairs Abigail Baratta, Sarah Britton, Liz Peek and Cynthia Wagner were joined by Women’s Committee President Yesim Philip, President & CEO of Central Park Conservancy Betsy Smith, Chairman of the Board, Tom Kempner, Conservancy trustees, and donors.
