The Miami Design District hosted its annual Art of Giving Back charity event at AMIRI’s Miami Design District boutique, marking the official launch of the Miami Design District x Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC) Team jersey designed by acclaimed artist Lauren Halsey.
Notable guests included AMIRI Founder and Creative Director Mike Amiri; Dacra CEO and President Craig Robins; Miami Dolphins players Malik Washington and Patrick Paul; artists Amani Lewis and Zak Ové; Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center Director Stephen D. Nimer, M.D.; Dolphins Cancer Challenge Executive Director Javier Sanchez; artist and filmmaker Harmony Korine; and Menin Hospitality CEO and Co-Founder Jared Galbut.
Hosted by Craig Robins, President and CEO of Dacra, and Mike Amiri, Founder and Creative Director of AMIRI, the evening celebrated the intersection of art, fashion, and philanthropy in support of the Dolphins Cancer Challenge and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Created for the Miami Design District’s cycling team participating in the Dolphins Cancer Challenge, the limited-edition Pro Team Training Jersey was developed in partnership with Rapha and reflects Halsey’s bold visual language and deep commitment to community impact. The jersey will be worn by Miami Design District riders during DCC XVI and is available for purchase, with proceeds directly supporting life-saving cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Guests were invited to register on-site to join the Miami Design District DCC team, with a QR-activated jersey display allowing attendees to sign up and fundraise in real time as part of the DCC initiative. Additional moments included live sounds by Paperwater.
The Art of Giving Back is part of the Miami Design District and Miami Dolphins’ year-round commitment to supporting those impacted by cancer. Since its founding in 2010, the Dolphins Cancer Challenge has united tens of thousands of riders, runners, and walkers and has raised nearly $100 million for innovative cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The Dolphins Cancer Challenge will host its annual ride, run, and walk event, DCC XVI, on February 28, 2026, at Hard Rock Stadium, bringing together the South Florida community in support of those affected by cancer.
Halsey joins a celebrated roster of past Miami Design District x DCC collaborators—including Mario Ayala, Bisa Butler, Daniel Arsham, Urs Fischer, and Harmony Korine—whose artist-designed jerseys have brought a distinctive creative lens to the ride.
