Dorsia and Whitewall celebrated Miami Art Week with an intimate welcome dinner and "Afters" hosted by Dorsia, welcoming guests from around the world to kick off Art Week at the newly opened Le Specialità, the U.S. debut of the Milanese institution, reimagined for Miami by Spicy Hospitality Group (SHG). Designed by Rockwell Group, the space features artisan-crafted furnishings by Artemest and a world-class art collection curated by SHG Founder Andre Sakhai.
Notable guests included Marc Lotenberg (Dorsia), Andre Sakhai (Spicy Hospitality), Michael Klug (Whitewall), Laurent Moïsi, and VIPs such as Seerat Saini, Andre Branch, William Hanley, Andre Sakhai, Leon Tovar, Diego Osorio, Jay Parker, Erin Newberg, and more.
The event brought together thought leaders across the culinary, hospitality, art, and design sectors to celebrate the world’s foremost art fair. In October, Dorsia announced its debut as an official Art Basel partner, kicking off a multi-year agreement that includes the creation of “Dorsia Special Access,” a new, official “Art Basel Afters” series Powered by Dorsia, and unprecedented access for Art Basel VIP’s. The partnership bridges the worlds of art, culture, and fine dining and expands Dorsia’s footprint and access to the world’s most exclusive and important cultural moments.
Dinner featured signature dishes including the restaurant’s signature pizza offerings, a hallmark of its Milanese heritage, alongside handmade pastas like Cacio e Pepe and Wagyu Bolognese, and guests enjoyed a Centinela Tequila pairing menu and specialty cocktails such as the Miami Heat featuring orancello and spicy agave, and the Espresso Italiano featuring Reposado, espresso, and amaro. After dinner, an intimate DJ set followed featuring Kate Ozz. VIP’s including Seerat Saini, Ostwal Gonzalez, Andre Branch, and Dwell Editor-in-Chief William Hanle,y enjoyed the perfect blend of culture, cuisine, and coveted access to kick off the week.
