The Museum of the City of New York hosted its Winter [Basket]Ball gala where attendees enjoyed cocktails on the terrace, a seated dinner, and previewed the exhibition City/Game: Basketball in New York alongside basketball legends. Guests also enjoyed a performance by BOUNCE – the Basketball Opera, which uses basketballs to create interactive music and dance. Whitney Donhauser, Ronay Menschel Director and President of the Museum of the City of New York, thanked guests for their support.Young professionals attended the “Post-Game Party” with dessert, dancing, and basketball-themed arcade games.
Notable guests included Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Naismith Hall of Famer, New York native, and six-time NBA Champion), and Owen D.
