evian®, the iconic natural spring water from the French Alps, invited guests to a private evening of culinary artistry with Reflections of Terroir, a bespoke dining experience that brought evian’s quality, balance, and Alpine origin to the table. In partnership with Montreal-based culinary studio Menu Extra, led by Chef Francis Blais, this event marked their Toronto debut, showcasing their holistic approach to gastronomy while highlighting evian as the central element of the dining experience.
Building on earlier highlights in Canada, including the unveiling of Mineral Spring, the immersive installation by artist Emilie Baltz presented at the MICHELIN Guide Ceremonies in Toronto and Vancouver, evian continues to celebrate the artistry of gastronomy. The Reflections of Terroir dinner with Menu Extra represents the next chapter in this journey, extending evian’s dedication to elevating culinary experiences in Canada. Reflections of Terroir draws inspiration from evian’s 15-year journey through glacial rock and sand, translating it into a multisensory dining landscape. Fluid forms, mirrored surfaces, and mineral hues reflect the water’s Alpine passage, turning the dining experience into a living narrative of taste, clarity, and refinement.
Each pour of evian, still or sparkling, is a ritual of renewal, elevating the senses and preparing the palate for each course. Guests experienced the renowned evian ritual, a mindful series of gestures that honour every first taste: from the presentation of the bottle and careful pour to serving at optimal temperature. Every sip refreshes, rejuvenates, and transforms dining into a moment of discovery.
