Public School and M. Patmos were named the menswear and womenswear winners of the 2014/15 International Woolmark Prize, at an event held at Milk Studios in New York. Also nominated for the womenswear category were Jonathan Simkhai, Nonoo, Rosie Assoulin and WHIT, and for the menswear category were a.a. antonio azzuolo, OVADIA & SONS, Timo Weiland and Todd Snyder.
For the next six months, the winning designers will develop a capsule collection in merino wool. This will be showcased at an event highlighting five finalists from across the globe.
Public School and M. Patmos will compete for the coveted International Woolmark Prize and an additional AU$100,000/US$95,000, together with the opportunity to be stocked in some of the world’s most important retailers.
