Founder & executive director Mike Traud kicked off a new chapter with The Chef Assembly in Los Angeles. Supported by Resy and hosted at ChowNow’s headquarters in Culver City, The Chef Assembly brought together culinary luminaries and prolific voices impacting the cultural conversation for panels and programming designed to advance ideas and strengthen the community.
Over 150 guests gathered at ChowNow’s headquarters for a day of panel discussions and culinary programming. Panel topics included Cuisines, Culture and Authenticity; ICE and the LA Food Culture; Hot Topics: LA Edition, and Trailblazer Talks featuring Jeff Gordinier with Daniel Patterson and Dominique Crenn, and Lyndsay Green with Tejal Rao.
Breakfast, lunch, and dessert breaks showcased offerings from local favorites Santa Canela, Bub and Grandma’s, Stumptown, Tijuanzo, Los Sabrosos, Sonoratown, Destroyer, Levain, and more. Following the conference, the party continued with a happy hour presented by The American Lamb Board featuring food from Evil Cooks and refreshments from San Pellegrino, Straightaway Cocktails, Maison Noir Wines, and Skyduster Beer.
