Dorsia, the Miami-based tech and hospitality startup known for granting its members access to the world's most sought-after restaurant reservations, joined forces with its cultural partner and long-time collaborator, Serpentine, to host a celebratory dinner at CARBONE London, the first UK outpost of Major Food Group’s famed Italian-American restaurant. Renowned for its old-school New York glamour, impeccable service, and signature dishes like Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, CARBONE’s London debut has quickly become one of the city’s most coveted dining experiences.
Dorsia Founder and Surface CEO Marc Lotenberg, Serpentine CEO Bettina Korek, and Artistic Director Hans Ulrich Obrist welcomed guests for cocktails and conversation before sitting down to enjoy an indulgent three-course menu with dishes including Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Lobster Ravioli, and Veal Parmesan. The evening brought together leading figures from the worlds of art, fashion, and design, including artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley, whose new exhibition THE DELUSION is currently on view at Serpentine North, fashion designer Chet Lo, and Marco Capaldo, Creative Director at 16 Arlington, alongside award-winning director Sophie Edelstein and creative director Georgina Huddart.
Other notable names in attendance included Allegra Handlesman, IT girl and London social face, seen discussing the beautiful surroundings with Marc, who was seen mingling with guests throughout the evening. Founded in 2022 by serial entrepreneur and CEO Marc Lotenberg, Dorsia aims to redefine the hospitality industry through innovative technology. The platform offers members access to exclusive dining experiences, invite-only cultural events, and curated experiences around the globe.
