Miami Art Week kicked off with a special launch event for 'Les Lalanne' at The Raleigh Gardens, bringing together a vibrant group from the worlds of art, real estate, finance, and fashion including, fashion designer Nicole Miller, Princess Alia bint Hussein, Christina Getty, artist Chloe Wise, and Sydney Picasso, among many others.
Guests were invited to explore the lush new tropical gardens designed by Peter Marino (famed architect and longtime SHVO collaborator) and noted Miami landscape designer Raymond Jungles, where over 40 sculptures by Claude and her husband François-Xavier Lalanne, known collectively as Les Lalanne, are on view.
More than 700 guests mingled between Lalanne’s iconic bronze “Moutons” (sheep) and posed playfully with the whimsical sculptures dotted throughout the garden, including fashion designer Nicole Miller, Princess Alia bint Hussein, Christina Getty, Angela Missoni, Kinga Lampert and Ingrid Vandebosch, alongside Sydney Picasso, the daughter-in-law of the famed artist, Jane Holzer and Allison Berg, as well as real estate developers Mauricio Umansky, Russell Galbut and Pam Liebman.
