Stacey Bendet and Dr. Vershalee Shukla hosted a New York-themed shopping experience supporting the Vincere Foundation at alice + olivia's Scottsdale, Arizona location. By bringing the spirit of New York City to Scottsdale, the event combined fashion, culture, and philanthropy in a unique celebration. The proceeds from the event were donated to support the foundation's work in cancer treatment.
The event featured immersive New York-themed experiences that transported guests to the Big Apple while honoring alice + olivia's headquarters. A highlight was the giant New York City-style bodega, complete with real concessions and souvenirs, serving as both a photo backdrop and a gifting station. Attendees enjoyed personalized touches, such as complimentary luggage tag customization by Mark and Graham, and a flower bouquet station where arrangements were wrapped in alice + olivia-branded newspaper, mimicking the authentic feel of a New York City bodega.
The event also included a luxurious New York-inspired treats table featuring baked goods from renowned NYC bakery Levain and exclusive co-branded Bon Bon candy boxes brought in specifically from New York City for the evening. Music by local favorite DJ Jen Jones created a lively atmosphere, complemented by a curated cocktail bar serving three signature drinks, each representing iconic New York cocktails.
The evening beautifully combined the vibrant spirit of New York City with a philanthropic cause, creating a unique celebration in true alice + olivia style. A portion of the event proceeds was donated to the Vincere Foundation, a nonprofit focused on early cancer detection and prevention for firefighters and first responders. Its screening programs have caught numerous cancers at early stages, saving lives and reducing treatment costs.
