The latest event in the Jazz Age Lawn Party series took place on New York’s Governors Island, transporting more than 10,000 free-spirited flappers and well-dressed gents back to the Roaring Twenties with period-styled cocktails, food and music. Once again, New York Times’ legendary fashion photographer Bill Cunningham attended and captured all the guests experiencing a "swellegant" weekend of live music by Lawn Party Host Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra. In between shimmying and shaking on the dance floor, guests enjoyed bites from an array of gourmet food trucks and stands. The event also featured a 1920s car exhibition, vintage clothing vendors, dance lessons, vintage portraits and more to delight the assorted Dapper Dans and Dolled-Up Daisys.
