Stetson Celebrates 160 Years and the Launch of Its Rizzoli Book

Stetson celebrated its 160th anniversary and the launch of Rizzoli’s Stetson: American Icon in Louisa’s at The Twenty Two. Tastemakers, media, country stars, and cowboys gathered to sip cocktails, listen to live music, and flip through the brand’s first coffee table book, honoring 160 years of history, innovation, craftsmanship, and culture.

Country star Carter Faith took the stage for a live performance, and her set was a mix of heartfelt ballads and high-energy crowd favorites, making her one of the night’s most talked-about highlights. Currently filming the upcoming Netflix feature Heartland alongside actress Jessica Chastain and preparing to release her highly-anticipated debut album Cherry Valley on October 3rd, Carter brought star power to the celebration. Meanwhile, DJ Alix Brown kept the celebration going with a curated soundtrack that fused Western classics with contemporary hits.

Notable guests included Anna Van Patten, Danielle Vasinova, Denny Balmaceda, Adam Bartoshesky, Coco Bassey, Kaye Bassey, Christian Bendek, Chris Braun, Cassie DiLaura, Livy Duncan, Sophie Elgort, Ramsey Ghazzawi, Steve Gonzalez, Batsheva Hay, Mara Hoffman, Patrick Janelle, Eric Jess, Drew Jessup, Dougie Joseph, Biel Juste, Brianna Lance, Lily Montasser, Steven Onoja, Marcus Paul, Carlos Quirarte, Woldy Reyes, Anthony Urbano, Dandy Wellington, Savannah White, among others.

Rizzoli’s Stetson: American Icon features evocative archival imagery and glamorous advertisements tracing the history of the brand and essays by cultural historians contextualizing the significance of Stetson in American culture. Rare archival photography is paired with portraits of past and present-day cultural icons in Stetson – from Georgia O’Keeffe, Andy Warhol, and Picasso to Willie Nelson, Beyoncé, and Post Malone (to name a few). It’s a stunning look at America’s most iconic heritage brand – in the words of John Wayne, “It’s the hat that won the West.”

Guests toasted to 160 years of Stetson and the iconic stories, legends, and legacy that comes along with an American heritage brand that’s woven into the very fabric of Western culture. The Rizzoli book is now available to shop on Stetson.com and wherever books are sold.
