Hourglass Cosmetics Founder Carisa Janes marked her acquisition and relaunch of Nature of Things with a sensorial cocktail experience to close New York Fashion Week, unveiling the luxury hand, hair, and body care brand’s new collection designed to set a modern standard of clean.
Carisa was joined by Alexandra Richards, Allyiah Gainer, Kieta Moore, Montes Twins, Colby Smith, Carmen Solomons, Kate Olivia Markowitz, Julie Gilhart, and many more.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by a striking organic installation along Crosby Street, an exterior accented with natural textures, cascading greenery, and earthy visuals that hinted at the journey within.
Inside the venue, a transportive atmosphere awaited. Each room was crafted as its own world, thoughtfully designed to immerse guests in environments where nature and people seamlessly come together. Verdant, layered greenery, and artful lighting guided guests through the experience. At the center, a sculptural luxury handwashing basin became a focal point, encouraging guests to indulge in the ritual of experiencing the new collection firsthand.
The evening’s soundtrack was curated by Alexandra Richards, whose dynamic DJ set carried the energy from discovery to celebration. As the night unfolded, the event transitioned into a lively party scene where New York’s cultural tastemakers, editors, and friends of the brand mingled and toasted the debut. Social-ready moments seamlessly integrated throughout the space, capturing the spirit of the brand’s newest chapter: refined, modern, and rooted in nature.
Nature of Things will debut its first NYC pop-up October 2nd–5th at 31 Crosby Street in SoHo, where guests can shop the full launch collection of plant-based personal care essentials, enjoy an on-site coffee patio, and more.
