For Spring 2026, alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet transformed New York City’s historic Hall of Records into a surrealist journey through American history, culture, and fashion through the lens of the American Woman. Ahead of the 250th anniversary of the United States, Bendet presented a collection and set that honor the women who have shaped the nation’s spirit across centuries.
“In 2026, as we honor the 250th anniversary of the United States, we celebrate the American woman,” says Stacey Bendet, Founder, Creative Director, and CEO of alice + olivia. “A woman who has shaped our culture, inspired our art, defined our fashion, and moved through history with strength and style. This collection is a love letter to her!”
Guests at the presentation included Ashlee Simpson, Sarah Pidgeon, Brooks Nader, Mary Holland Nader, Grace Ann Nader, Sarah Jane Nader, Nicky Hilton, Ava Dash, Jenny Mollen, Liz Gillies, Julia Butters, Isabella Briggs, Silvia Dionicio, Sofia Bryant, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tina Craig, Isabela Ferrer, Hallie Batchelder, Emira D’Spain, and more.
The Hall of Records’ early 20th-century Beaux-Arts and French Baroque architecture provides a grand backdrop for a series of immersive vignettes that frame the collection against the intersection of fashion, art, pop culture, and Americana. Upon entering the main hall, guests encounter a towering 20-foot interpretation of the Statue of Liberty wearing a gown printed with butterflies and American roses to symbolize life. Nearby, a reimagined Constitution titled We the Women and an abstract American flag mural conjure the beauty of our distinctive creativity and resilience.
Nostalgic, joyful, and modern, alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet Spring 2026 is a sweeping celebration of the women whose grit, tenacity, and flair have crystallized American style.
