To commemorate ten years on the official New York Fashion Week calendar, ADEAM hosted an intimate dinner at Chez Fifi. The evening was led by the brand’s Creative Director, Hanako Maeda, and brought together close friends and longtime collaborators to honor a decade of creative evolution and community.
The evening's guests included Hanako Maeda, Madeline Brewer, Jack Thompson-Roylance, Hari Nef, Amanda Murphy, Yuka Mannami, Sophie Elgort, Sada Ito, Christie Tyler, Natalie Lim Suarez, Mary Leest, and Laura Jung.
Tucked inside a charming Upper East Side townhouse, Chez Fifi’s private salon provided an elegant yet welcoming setting for the celebration. Guests gathered over cocktails and a multi-course meal curated by Executive Chef Zack Zeidman, enjoying a night that embodied ADEAM’s spirit of storytelling, artistry, and cultural duality.
Among the guests were Hari Nef, who fronted ADEAM ICHI’s inaugural campaign in 2021; Madeline Brewer, a longtime supporter and front row fixture at the brand’s runway shows; Yuka Mannami, a recurring muse on the runway and in campaigns; and Amanda Murphy, who helped mark the launch of ADEAM’s 2022 collaboration with Carolyn Murphy. Also in attendance was Sophie Elgort, a dear friend of Hanako Maeda and celebrated photographer, for whom Maeda designed a custom wedding gown in 2014—a moment later featured in VOGUE. Their presence reflected the brand’s enduring creative relationships and deep-rooted commitment to collaboration, community, and personal storytelling.
“When we first showed ADEAM at New York Fashion Week in Fall 2014, I could never have imagined the journey that lay ahead,” said Hanako Maeda. “Celebrating ten years on the official calendar is not just a professional milestone—it’s deeply personal. I grew up in New York City, and this city has shaped the way I see the world, the way I design. It means everything to share collections that weave together my Japanese heritage and my love for New York. This dinner was my way of saying thank you to everyone who’s been part of that story.”
Highlighting the evening’s creative synergy, Sada Ito, Global Artistry Director of NARS Japan, crafted the makeup look for ADEAM muse Yuka Mannami. For over eight years, NARS has brought its artistry to ADEAM’s runway shows, shaping the beauty narrative of each season. Guests took home a curated NARS gift set, elegantly wrapped in an ADEAM gingham pouch made from a signature Spring/Summer 2026 fabric—a thoughtful gesture celebrating this enduring collaboration.
The dinner also served as a preview for ADEAM’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, which will debut later this week. Fusing romance with edge, the collection reimagines the modern wardrobe by embracing the duality of the ADEAM woman—her softness and strength.
