Kering and Phaidon celebrated the publication of Great Women Artists, an extensive illustrated book on women artists that reflects an era where art made by women is more prominent than ever, with an intimate dinner for 100 at La Mercerie.
The intimate dinner was one of a number of public and private events in New York. A special video series featuring interviews of artists Maya Lin and Pat Steir in their studios were also produced and launched in conjunction with the partnership as well as a panel discussion that will be held at The Met on October 17th, featuring artists Ghada Amer, Sharon Hayes, Deana Lawson and Martha Rosler.
