Hotel Fermata - the soon-to-open luxury surf hotel in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica - hosted an exclusive preview dinner at Montauk’s Crow’s Nest. Together with ASTRSK PR, Hotel Fermata founders, Stefanie Tannenbaum and Sarah Kosterlitz, welcomed guests ranging from top-tier editors to creators and founders, including Evan Ross Katz, Spencer Hoddeson, Jenné Lombardo and more, for a chic, intimate evening that brought a touch of Costa Rica’s pura vida spirit to one of the East Coast’s most iconic surf towns.

From the team behind Nosara’s acclaimed Sendero Hotel, Hotel Fermata will debut in December 2025. The 35-room beachfront retreat sits steps from Santa Teresa’s legendary La Lora surf break and is designed to embrace all travelers with a blend of thoughtful design, laid-back luxury, and authentic cultural connection.
