The Standard, High Line inaugurated Hank Willis Thomas’s new work at The Plaza. Guests mingled among the installation with cocktails as the sun set on the nearby Hudson. The installation – two speech bubbles dubbed “Ernest and Ruth” – sits at the corner of Washington Street and West 13th. The work welcomes guests and the community to Plaza, reminding all that The Standard is an open space for candid conversation and new connections.
