Last night, DELQA: Inside the Music of Matthew Dear, an Interactive Experience, launched at New Museum. Dear and fellow Ghostly International artist Heathered Pearls performed at the event. Well-known identities from the creative community attended, experiencing the interactive sound and light installation, that using Microsoft Kinect technology intuitively responds to its audience’s movement.
Guests included: Matthew Dear, Rose McGowan, Cecilia Dean, artist Alex Czetwertynski, filmmaker/photographer Gordon von Steiner, celebrity stylists Logan Horne and Keino Benjamin, social media sensation Kevin Lu (Sweat Engine), art consultant Cary Leitzes, and DJ Chelsea Leyland, among others.
