Guests gathered Las’ Lap in the Lower East Side to celebrate National Rum Day with 'Orange is the New Black' actress Dascha Polanco and premium rums from the Bacardi Limited portfolio. Five premium rum brands – including the BACARDÍ Premium Rums, HAVANA CLUB rum, SANTA TERESA 1796 Rum, BANKS Rums, and the FACUNDO Rum Collection – offered limited edition rum cocktails and passed bites, encouraging guests to ‘Raise Your Rum’ for the national holiday.
Polanco joined in on the fun as she mingled with guests, sipped on elevated libations from each of the premium rums and stepped behind the bar with Las’ Lap Beverage Director and 2017 BACARDÍ US Legacy winner, Darnell Holguin. Throughout the evening, guests and consumers were treated to an array of limited-edition cocktails available at accounts throughout the boroughs of New York City.
