The Barneys New York Foundation, HBO, and the LGBT Community Center hosted a cocktail party and shopping event to celebrate World Pride and benefit the LGBT Community Center. The celebration was hosted by Matthew Mazzucca, creative director of Barneys New York, Timothy Chow, board member for The Center and Chris Moukarbel, director of Wig at Barneys New York’s Downtown flagship. The event also celebrated the upcoming premiere of the new HBO documentary Wig with several of the film’s featured personalities. Throughout World Pride, Barneys New York’s iconic window displays will showcase the many personalities and performances of Wig.
