The New York Botanical Garden hosted the annual Conservatory Ball for 550 guests, raising nearly $2.2 million to benefit the Children’s Education and Plant Research and Conservation Programs at NYBG. The evening celebrated Maureen K. Chilton, Chairman Emerita, and her nine years of service as NYBG’s Chairman of the Board.
The black tie affair kicked off with a cocktail hour; guests were invited to experience the Garden’s much-anticipated exhibition, Brazilian Modern: The Living Art of Roberto Burle Marx, the first-ever, exhibition to combine a large-scale horticultural tribute to the Brazilian modernist artist and landscape architect.
Notable attendees included Georgina Bloomberg, Lili Buffett, Tabitha Simmons and Topper Mortimer, Ken Fulk and more.
