More than 750 guests attended the Frick’s annual Spring Garden Party for Fellows and Young Fellows. This year's event also celebrated the opening of Elective Affinities: Edmund de Waal at The Frick Collection.
Despite the rain, guests arrived in all matter of festive spring attire—a mixture of bright whites, bold colors, and floral patterns—and gathered in the museum’s iconic Garden Court. Partygoers enjoyed cocktails courtesy of event sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka accompanied by a tempting variety of seasonally inspired hors d’oeuvres provided by Creative Edge Parties. Guests also sipped Rosé by Hampton Water Wine Co., and sparkling wine by Ferrari Trento while being entertained by the music of noted jazz quartet The Flail and the music of DJ Unos and Dubs.
Later, when the skies finally cleared, the party ended with one final nightcap under the stars in the historic Fifth Avenue Garden as intended. Guests also had the opportunity to visit the permanent collection and special exhibition galleries throughout the event, as well as visit the rarely-seen second floor of the former Frick mansion, which was open on this special evening.
