The Standard honored artist Korakrit Arunanondchai, together with boychild and Alex Gvojic, to celebrate their inclusion in the 58th Venice Biennale and the 2019 Whitney Biennial, with a dinner at the Standard Grill, helmed by newly appointed Executive Chef, Rocco di Spirito. Guests enjoyed instant classics from di Spirito’s Standard Grill offering – including tuna tartare, wild shrimp, white asparagus, black seabass, boneless ribeye steak, local sea scallops, and his strawberry take on the classic baked Alaska dessert.
With this dinner, The Standard further exemplifies its commitment to being a convergent platform for artists of multiple disciplines to come together and continues its rich history of providing the spaces for this community to come together. For over 20 years, The Standard’s family has been made up of artists, designers, and creatives, and furthermore this will be the brand’s commitment as it expands around the world.
