Co-founder & CEO of S’ABLE Labs, Sabrina Elba, along with Isan Elba and Seku Grey, recently hosted a sonic and sensorial celebration to honor the power of creative wellness and premiere S’ABLE Sounds' first groundbreaking new album: No Lip Service. This bold, first-of-its-kind project merges music and beauty in a dynamic expression of art, identity, and cultural care; the record featuring a powerful lineup of Black artists explores themes of wellness, creativity, and connection.
The evening's attendees included Karen Blanchard, Lion Babe, Zinhle Essamuah, Lellies Santiago, Billie Gene, Elyse Ketura, Keita Moore, and many more.
Guests stepped into the Record Room in Long Island City—a proudly Black-owned space rooted in music, culture, and community—where the night unfolded as an immersive celebration of sound, storytelling, and care. As they entered the music-filled venue, they were welcomed with custom cocktails before being guided into a live DJ set by Isan Elba that pulsed through the room. Nearby, the Lip Bar gave guests a first look and application of the brand’s newest lip launch: Moringa Lip Salve, a future-forward lip treatment rooted in centuries-old African care traditions - challenging the notion that beauty is only skin-deep and redefining care as something truly intentional.
The night then transitioned into a listening lounge, where VIPs, artists, press, and creators gathered for an exclusive preview of the unreleased vinyl—an album inspired by oral traditions passed down through generations across the African continent. Through this immersive listening experience, S’ABLE Labs celebrated more than a launch—it created a space where wellness was redefined as creative, cultural, and deeply communal.
No Lip Service will be available on Spotify and major streaming services on May 30th.
