ICON, the influential men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine, celebrated the launch of its U.S. edition, ICON America, with a celebratory cocktail at Hunter Dunbar Gallery, followed by an intimate dinner at Café Chelsea.

Helmed by Editor in Chief Gro Curtis, the biannual publication makes its American debut under the umbrella of media powerhouse Reworld Media. To mark this pivotal moment, ICON America unveiled a powerful quartet of covers that reflect the brand’s commitment to celebrating modern masculinity through style, culture, and conversation.
Robert De Niro, one of the most enduring icons of American cinema, graces the lead cover in a rare and intimate interview with ICON. The feature dives deep into legacy, creativity, and the enduring influence of storytelling.
Under the bold editorial theme “Models as Muses,” three additional covers spotlight fashion’s most influential male models through deeply personal conversations with the designers who admire them:
Together, these covers highlight the powerful dialogue between muse and creator, redefining the future of menswear through personal narrative and style.
Editor in Chief Gro Curtis brings a decades-long career shaped by editorial and consulting experience to the brand, “ICON has built a strong image and editorial signature globally,” said Curtis. “Challenging the fundamental codes of menswear has always been my passion, and I look forward to further nourishing U.S.-based talent and creativity. Our goal is to establish ICON as an arbiter of good taste and impeccable men's style—not just another almanac of trends.”
The U.S. launch also brings together an impressive editorial and creative team:
ICON America will publish twice annually, combining powerful print storytelling with a robust digital presence. In tandem with the print debut, ICON USA has launched across major social media platforms, @icon.america. The debut issue of ICON America is now available on newsstands.
