Diane von Furstenberg was honored with a beautiful cocktail reception hosted by friend and fellow woman-in-charge, Jamie D. McCourt, Ambassador of the United States of America to France and Monaco. The intimate celebration toasted to the forthcoming opening of the Statue of Liberty Museum on May 15th. Diane reflects on her title as ‘Godmother of the Statue of Liberty’ in her upcoming book expressing, “it has taken me through a fascinating journey into the history of France and America, their friendship and respect and into the making of dreams.”
