Celebrated filmmaker Baz Luhrmann threw one of the most buzzed-about after-parties of the 2025 Met Gala at his own East Village boîte, Monsieur. True to Luhrmann’s theatrical style, the night blurred the lines between high fashion and underground rave, with decadent décor, a six-hour DJ set by Daisy O'Dell, and a surprise turn by Luhrmann himself behind the bar serving Bombay Sapphire Sparkling Lemon. 

The evening's guests included Charli XCX, Heidi Klum and Leni Klum, Sarah Snook, Rosé, Jeremy O. Harris, Natasha Lyonne, Stella Maxwell, Lewis Hamilton, Julia Fox, Giovanna Battagilia Engelbert, Anna Sawai, Janicza Bravo, Haider Ackermann, Guram Gvasalia, Antwaun Sargent Dianne Brill, Catherine Martin, Jon Neidich and many more.

The immersive scene included candlelit corners, a goth-glam dress code, and an eclectic soundtrack that sent guests like Dianne Brill, Guram Gvasalia, and Anna Sawai to the dance floor. The mood was sultry and cinematic, capped off by a late-night wave of Met Gala glitterati feasting on grilled cheeses and twirling under vintage chandeliers.
