G’Day USA 2019 honored Australia’s most influential and prominent personalities in film, television, music and culture for their individual contributions to the US-Australia relationship. Bird in Hand Winery, the official sparkling wine sponsor for the awards, joined the celebrations, serving its premium sparkling wine to guests throughout the night at 3Labs in Culver City.
The 16th Annual G’Day USA black-tie star-studded gala honored legendary Australian singer Helen Reddy with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Actor Liam Hemsworth received the Excellence in Film Award and production designer Deborah Riley received the Outstanding Achievement in Film and Television Award.
Awards were presented by Vince Vaughn and Jamie Lee Curtis, the night also included a performance by ARIA award nominee Odette who performed at Bird in Hand winery’s 20 year celebration in 2018 at their South Australian property. Award-winning Australian actor and comedian Patrick Brammall (The Letdown, No Activity) hosted the awards show and dinner. Guests enjoyed a menu curated by Australian chef Curtis Stone.
Andrew Nugent, founder of Bird in Hand Winery, hosted a table at the awards with notable A-List attendees including: Jessica Mcnamee (Locusts, The Meg), model Taylor Badgley and Singer Caroline Vreeland, among others.
