“Celebrating the launch of the Ma Collection with friends of the brand here in New York is incredibly special to us,” says Co-CEO Gabriel Sauer. “Opening our first flagship outside of Brazil, right here on Madison Avenue, marks a meaningful step in SAUER’s growth. To do so surrounded by a community that continues to inspire and support us makes this moment even more impactful.”
SAUER introduced the “Ma” Collection at SP-Arte in São Paulo, Brazil, further echoing the brand’s longstanding connection to the art world, one of its founding pillars. To commemorate the launch of “Ma”, SAUER awarded the SAUER Art Prize to Mayara Ferrão, a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores themes of identity and memory through photography and video. Following three successful editions of the SAUER Art Prize at The Armory Show in New York, this expansion to Brazil reflects SAUER’s continued commitment to supporting emerging voices and celebrating the global art community.
"The Ma Collection was born from a reflection on space, form, and meaning — a process that felt especially resonant as we expanded into a city as dynamic as New York. Designing this collection has been a meditation on presence, and it's an honor to unveil it here, surrounded by a community that values creativity, innovation, and artistry,” shares Stephanie Wenk. “To celebrate Ma in New York is to celebrate possibility itself."
