Faena Art held its fifth annual Gala – Follow Your Rainbow — a vivid and immersive celebration honoring the international nonprofit’s 14 year legacy of championing artistic innovation in Miami. Hosted by Alan and Grace Faena, the exclusive event unfolded poolside at the iconic Faena Miami Beach, transforming the space into a dreamscape of color and sensory wonder.
Guests entered through rainbow archways into a kaleidoscopic world where art, fashion, music, and culinary craft converged. The evening featured a striking, site-specific installation commissioned from acclaimed artist Joel Mesler, alongside a high-energy performance by DJ Richie Hell and a radiant fashion show with performers styled in bespoke rainbow couture.
Adding to the spectacle was an unforgettable culinary experience curated by Faena’s celebrated partners—legendary Argentine Chef Francis Mallmann and James Beard Award-winning Chef Paul Qui. Highlights included Qui’s live carving of a colossal tuna amid the crowd and Mallmann’s signature, open-fire Asado-style cooking.
Notable guests in attendance, among Miami’s creative elite, included Alan and Grace Faena, Gianni and Leena Infantino, Jorge and Darlene Pérez, Len and Emily Blavatnik, Olivier Francois, Vita Sidorkina-Morabito, Mindy Solomon, Cathy Leff, and Karen Grimson. Notable artists in attendance included Joel Mesler, Christina Pettersson, Beatriz Chachamovits, Magnus Sodamin, Kelly Breez, Anabella Bergero, Antonia Wright, Edison Peñafiel, Jill Hotchkiss, Manuel Ameztoy, and Danié Gómez Ortigoza.
Guests were invited to embrace the vibrant spirit of this year's Follow Your Rainbow theme by donning colorful, rainbow-inspired couture. Faena Art celebrated the evening's most eye-catching look, awarding one guest - Miami-based artist Francisca Oyhanarte - with a complimentary two-night stay in the luxurious Faena Penthouse.
Proceeds from the Gala directly support Faena Art’s mission to amplify artistic expression and expand Miami’s cultural landscape. Funds contribute to year-round programming including the Faena Art Project Room exhibitions and experimental commissions, and the annually awarded, prestigious Faena Prize for the Arts.
