Not everyone is lucky enough to Basel like Beckham and Michael Strahan, but an exclusive group of billionaires, celebrities and the who’s who of Miami had the privilege to gain access to Art Basel Miami’s most exclusive party hosted by Wayne & Cynthia Boich at their waterfront estate. The evening began with an intimate dinner with Champagne Armand de Brignac featuring the brand’s Rosé poured from striking metalized bottles followed by the afterparty, Samsung After Dark. Ace of Spades Champagne was flowing as celebrities mixed and mingled to sounds by DJ Ruckus on the expansive dance floor set atop the pool. Guests included Miami Dolphins, Danny Amendola, Legendary Footballer David Beckham, Olympic Fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, Professional BMXer, Nigel Sylvester and Former New York Giant and TV Personality, Michael Strahan, Former Miami HEAT Star, Chris Bosh, NFL Hall of Famer, Ray Lewis, Director/Producer Michael Bay, Carole Radziwill, Uber CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, Jetcraft CEO Jahid Fazal-Karim, Armand de Brignac CEO, Sebastian Besso, and a bevy of Miami’s leading business executives including Stuart Miller, Jeff Soffer, Barry Sternlicht, Ugo Colombo, Bruce Beal, Andrew Joblon and Actress, Claire Holt, and more.
At midnight, the dancefloor suddenly transformed into an interactive stage as Rick Ross took the mic for a surprise performance. While the crowd was roped off, Ross invited ladies to cross the barrier and dance alongside his performance for what turned into the most epic music video level act – Miami style. When the set was complete the stage was expanded once again for the climax of the evening, a second surprise performance by none other than Travis Scott. While Scott began his performance on the stage, he paused halfway through the first song, asked everyone to put down their cell phones and really “party with him" as he took his performance to the ultra VIP section and performed steps away from David Beckham, Michael Strahan and a crowd of real estate moguls. According to a partygoer this party was “the most insane party I’ve ever seen at Art Basel… or ever.’ Following his performance he jumped in the Dj Booth and started DJ’ing.
