The Montblanc Cultural Foundation honored Art Matters co-founder Laura Donnelley with the 27th Edition of the Montblanc Arts Patronage Award at the studio of Izhar Patkin in New York’s East Village. Donnelley is among 17 patrons across the country to receive the visionary award for her outstanding personal commitment to supporting the work of young and emerging artists. Under Donnelley’s leadership, Art Matters has distributed over 2500 grants to US artists for fellowships and collaborative projects all over the world.
Throughout the event, guests enjoyed music by Matt D. and the opportunity to view Montblanc’s 2018 Patron of Art 4810 limited-edition writing instrument presented to Laura during the awards ceremony which included a live performance by John Kelly and remarks from Sylvain Costof (President, Montblanc North America). Laura Donnelley (Co-founder, Art Matters)was joined by her friends, family and Art Matters Board members to receive the visionary award presented to her by Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath (Chairmen, Montblanc Cultural Foundation).
